Up early and getting everyone ready to go, it is rough getting people motivated. I would of thought that the allure of PAX would of been enough. Everyone has been fed and we are now in the car on our way to our first PAX.
Day 1 we have been told that if we want any of the good Special edition merch we must get there early and get in line. So we parked and paid our fee, we have arrived downtown before everything opens at the convention center. As we walk in we now get the forum posts that we read over and over “WAIT”. Turns out that the San Antonio has installed talking cross-walk signals, when ever someone pushes the cross button you get a repeating “WAIT” it is very annoying when someone sits there pushing the button.
We make our way down to the convention center and this place is huge, this is going to be fun. Already so many people are there and lines are long. short line to get in bags checked and we get our lanyards to display our badges. Kristy and I split up and she heads to merch line and I head over to the expo hall. there are thousands of people already lined up, but this is not the enforcer’s first PAX they know how to handle the crowds, they have numbered lines that look to hold a few hundred people each and I count 15 lines. I was placed in the middle of line 10.
While I “WAIT” I start to see cubes bouncing around, They have these huge multicolored cubes that are filled with Air being hit by the people in line. Here is a short Video that will show you the cube and the lines.
